Abstract

The acoustical parameters of some synthesized cyanopyridine derivatives have been studied from ultrasonic velocity and density measurements in solutions of different concentrations in dimethylsulphoxide and N,Ndimethylformamide at 298.15 K. From these experimental data, some acoustical and apparent properties were evaluated. The results provide useful information about compound-compound and compound-solvent interactions and are of significant help in understanding the behavior of synthesized compounds in solutions.

Keywords: Cyanopyridine derivatives, ultrasonic velocities, Dimethyl sulphoxide, N, N-dimethyl formamide etc.
